2012 Update

Posted on

When we first started tinkleflick.com, Mark Zuckerberg was probably still getting beat up in middle school.  Now, he’s a billionaire and our little website is not quite as necessary as it used to be.  At first, the website was the online source of pictures of the kids when they were babies and we would update it regularly with picture of them.  As Facebook and other social media started (you can still see some references to MySpace in the news archives), we spent less and less time updating tinkleflick.com.  For a while, we went down to monthly updates and, over the last few years, we dropped down to just updating it annually for the holiday letter.  This year, we even considered taking it down because it was so neglected.  The WordPress database was so old that it took a full day of incremental updates just to bring it forward.  However, now that we have brought it current and changed the theme, we have realized that it is a nice history of the kids and some of the things we have done as a family so we have decided to keep it current and leave it up.  We probably won’t update it too often but we will definitely keep it going for the annual holiday letter.  We hope you enjoy it!
