Tinkleflick Enterprises Announces Downsizing; Layoff of One Animal Expected

Filed under: Tinkleflick News — Ralph @ 3:20 pm

Corporate downsizing has come to Tinkleflick Enterprises as the company has announced cuts. The first to go is one of the cats. “They are pretty useless anyway,” said Wendy Flick, Vice President of Human and Non-Human Resources.

A pink slip was expected to be issued to Jenny, the most useless of them all and under applicable labor laws, the company must keep her position (Jenny is currently Cat 2) open until she finds a suitable alternative position.

The CFUDAU (Canine and Feline Useless Dirty Animal Union) Local 531 was said to be considering strikes; however, the plan was abandoned when they realized that nobody would be inconvenienced by a strike of cats. A grievance is expected to be filed.

If you, or someone you love, is interested in adopting a useless animal, please let us know.
