Senior management at Tinkleflick Enterprises has made the decision to replace the lighting system used at the worldwide headquarters for holiday decorations. The previous system was used since the facility was first occupied in 1999. Ralph Flick, Vice President of Brand Development said, “We want our support base to think ‘cutting edge’ when they think of the tinkleflick brand. The previous icicle lighting system was very advanced for its time but we think it is time to make a bold statement for our brand at the all important holiday season.” The new lighting system, a neat single row of white lights with three small lighted swirl trees in front, has been described as ‘minimalist’ and ‘modern’ by observers and ‘anal retentive’. Wendy Flick, Chief Operating Officer described the new look as “…very compulsive and very typical for Ralph.” The new lighting system will be on display for the holiday season through the New Year every night for five hours beginning at dusk (thanks to a fancy new timer from Ace Hardware). Waiting times may vary, so visitors are encouraged to plan ahead.
The Bears have beaten the second strong team in a row this week, following their upset victory last week over contender Carolina they beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week in a squeaker. Once again, the defense stepped up. An early sack and forced fumble resulted in a touchdown and the game ended on a sack. Also, and most importantly, this was the sixth week in a row that Tinkleflick headquarters has been flying the bears flag that Ralph got when he visited Soldier Field for the game against the Vikings. Since Ralph’s visit, the Bears are undefeated and they have almost a strangle hold on the NFC Central Division! What a great year this is turning out to be!

Well, here we are at week 11 and the Bears stepped up huge today and be the Panthers who are very good and were a pre-season SuperBowl contender. I missed the first half of the game because I was at MyGym with Noah for a birthday party, but I was surprised to see the Bears pitching a shutout at halftime and I was even more surprised to see them dominate the second-half defensively. One thing is clear, though, flying my Bears flag in front of the house DEFINITELY helps them win–they are now 5-0 in games when I lfy the flag. How can you argue with statistics like that!?!?!?
