Happy New Year from tinkleflick.com

Filed under: Tinkleflick News — Ralph @ 3:44 pm

24.jpgWell, 2004 is almost over and the land of tinkleflick is preparing for 2005. Noah is only days away from his 2nd birthday (on January 9th)! Ralph and Wendy are busy dealing with Noah and the animals pretty much stay the same from year-to-year.

We really hope to continue to make improvements to tinkleflick.com by constantly adding features. Please keep checking back for updates! At the very least, we are able to update the written content now and put some pictures online (if you haven’t checked out the photo gallery page recently, there are some Christmas pictures on it now).

Most importantly, from all of us here at tinkleflick.com, we wish all of you and your family and friends a safe, happy and healthy 2005.

Ralph, Wendy, Noah and the Animals.

Tinkleflick Announces Personnel Changes

Filed under: Tinkleflick News — Ralph @ 1:16 am

Effective immediately, the duties and responsibilities of tinkleflick kid have been reorganized to better reflect the structure of the organization. Noah has been promoted to the newly created position of Prince. His duties will include feeding the fish, management of the toy truck fleet, dirt pile development and he will also continue to fill his vital role as Assistant Chicago Bears football fan. Natalie was brought in to assume the new title of Princess. Since she is new to the organization, so she will be learning the ropes for a while but is expected to make an immediate contribution in the he “extra cute” department.

The animals, as useless as ever, will all remain in their current positions and, as a result, have all been effectively demoted. After an emergency meeting, the animals issued a joint statement declining comment and referring inquiries to their attorney who was not returning calls. The tinkleflick SIO (Statistical Information Office) told tinkleflick.com, however, that the animals are projected to see an immediate increase in tail-pulling which will be partially offset in the first quarter of 2007 by increased table scraps.

Noah Look Alike

Filed under: Wendy, Noah — Ralph @ 1:03 am

There are times when we will think that Noah looks more like one of us than the other, but a recent picture was almost eerie in the resemblance between Noah and Wendy. As you may have been reading here on tinkleflick.com, we are in the process of building a home office in the back yard. When the area was first cleared, Noah got hold of Ralph’s measuring wheel and ran around ‘measuring’ the backyard. We took a picture of him looking up and when Wendy saw it, she was reminded of a baby picture of herself…and the resemblance is amazing. The picture, the dirt lot background and the expression are all almost exactly the same with about 30 years of time in between. Take a look…

Noah/Wendy Look Alike Pictures Re-Posted

Filed under: Tinkleflick News — Ralph @ 12:01 am

One of the posts on the old version of the website that we failed to bring over to the new site was the eerily similar pictures of Wendy and Noah. We have re-posted them here so, if you haven’t seen it before, by all means check it out.

Natalie Celebrates Christmas, One Week Birthday; New Photo Gallery has been Posted

Filed under: Natalie, Tinkleflick News — Ralph @ 2:30 am

Well, we have made it through the first week and we have survived not only adjusting to a newborn but Christmas as well. Natalie has done very well with nursing and an early case of jaundice has passed through her system. Noah is handling things well and likes to kiss and hug his new baby sister (and will likely be more upset at the prospect of Daddy going back to work than Natalie’s arrival).

Anyway, we have been adjusting to having another member of the family and dealing with Christmas, so we have been delinquent in posting pictures and updates. However, there is a new photo gallery–click on the “Photo Gallery” link to see it. Keep checking back because in the next few days we will be posting a full account of Natalie’s arrival as well as our holiday letter.

I’ll be Home for Christmas

Filed under: Natalie, Tinkleflick News — Ralph @ 10:49 pm

We’re sorry for the slow update of the website, but we didn’t have Internet access easily available to us (only limited email acces through Ralph’s PDA). Thanks to everyone for your emails, cards, phone calls and voicemails. We just got home so we haven’t had a chance yet to reply to everyone, but we really do appreciate the kind thoughts. Of course we took a ton of pictures and video and, in the coming days, we will post a slideshow on the “Photo Gallery” page and Wendy will send out an Ofoto album. For now, we are a bit overwhelmed with getting used to adding the little one to our lives just as the holidays kick in, so stick with us. Make sure to check back to tinkleflick.com over the next few days for updates!

BREAKING NEWS: The Baby Has Not Yet Arrived!

Filed under: Tinkleflick News — Ralph @ 10:41 pm

With a feeding frenzy reminiscent of local news team coverage of the OJ low speed chase, locals have been eagerly awaiting the news of the newest member of the tinkleflick family. The big news is that nothing has changed and no baby has yet been born. The Flick Family has sequestered themselves in the tinkleflick compound awaiting the big moment. Noah is busy putting stickers everywhere and playing with his ever growing inventory of train sets. Thankfully, the expectation of the new arrival forced tinkleflick management to complete all holiday related chores well in advance. The pool cameras have captured images of lights on a tree through the front window and the new lighting system (see related article below) has already been installed…and it’s only December 5th! Stay tuned to tinkleflick.com for up-to-the-minute news and information, not to mention cutting edge journalism and commentary, relating to all things tinkleflick, including the baby!
