December, January and February Pictures

Filed under: Tinkleflick News — Ralph @ 10:44 pm

december-picture.jpgOK, we are lame. The Christmas decorations on the website were up until almost the end of March! So, 2009 has started off with the Washington State Bar Exam for Ralph and so the website got put on the back burner for a while. Thankfully, Wendy has been diligent about the monthly photo albums so here are the links. We’ll try to do a better job of updating the site. In the meantime, here are the links to catch up:

Here are the December pictures.

Here are the January pictures.

Here are the Feburary pictures.

Catchin’ Up

Filed under: Tinkleflick News — Ralph @ 6:44 pm

Wow! We haven’t updated the site since June!!! Managers at tinkleflick.com just barely survived a cost-cutting drive at Tinkleflick Enterprises. Yes, that’s right, we considered shutting down the site in favor of Facebook or something like it. However, after a serious discussion, the Board of Directors voted to keep tinkleflick.com for 2009 and demanded that the lame management update it more frequently. So, here we go:

New Toys

Filed under: Tinkleflick News — Ralph @ 3:57 pm

511904406605_0_bg.jpgSummer has arrived in Gig Harbor and we decided that the kids did not have enough toys to keep them busy in the warm (but, thankfully, relatively mild) weather. So, we decided that our money was better spent on removing our trampoline and filling it in with sand than to pay for emergency room visits related to said trampoline. After 175 trips down our driveway and through our backyard to fill in a hole that was 15′ wide and four feet deep, we now have what we like to call “The World’s Largest Sandbox” (with “World” referring more to the world of tinkleflick…we don’t want to get sued by someone who has a larger sandbox). As seems to be the case with home service vendors in this area, Tony from Harbor Point Excavating not only did a great job but became a new friend to the kids. Tony not only contributed to our fleet of trucks but took the kids on a ride on the Bobcat (shhhh…don’t tell his insurance company) and allowed Noah to hire himself on as a volunteer worker. Stay tuned for some video that we hope to post soon as well as the full June photo album. For now, check out the pictures of the World’s Largest Sandbox!

Happy Father’s Day

Filed under: Tinkleflick News — Ralph @ 9:00 am

How do we celebrate Father’s Day here in the land of tinkleflick? Well, by staging a 10 lap airplane race, of course. One of the benefits (disadvantages?) of a house with a floorplan like our is that the kids can race around, and around, and around. It’s apparently ENDLESS fun! So, when asked what they wanted to do for the Pacos on Father’s Day, it was of course a race. To all the fathers and pacos in tinkleflickland, Happy Father’s Day 2008. Enjoy the video.

May Photo Album Released

Filed under: Tinkleflick News — Ralph @ 7:41 pm

453276255605_0_bg.jpg Well, we’ve been here for two months and Ralph is loving the weather even if all of the members of Tinkleflick Nation are not jumping up and down for joy. The cold weather is lasting longer than is normal for the area (so they say) which, is good, because each day that summer is delayed, the better. Noah finished his pre-K career and is now a legitimate Kindergartener-elect just waiting to take his seat. Life is good in the Pacific Northwest! Click here to view the May pictures and stay tuned. We are thinking of releasing some videos soon.

April in the Northwest

Filed under: Tinkleflick News — Ralph @ 1:06 pm

260916624605_0_bg.jpgMay of 2008 marked our first full month as residents of the Pacific Northwest. It’s been colder than they say is normal for the area (which makes Ralph happy) but it’s a beautiful place to live and we’re settling in. We’ve went into the city recently to see Dan Zanes and spent the afternoon at the famous Pike Place Market and taking the ferry back. Summer is almost upon us so come on by and see us sometime. The April photo album is available here.

Natalie: Crazy or Just Eccentric

If you didn’t think Natalie was crazy before, take one look at this picture and you might change her mind. This is what Natalie looks like with skin lotion in her hair! At least this looks puts her in fairly good company. Now, if she could only discover the present day equivalent of the theory of relativity, we’d be set!

Settling in Gig Harbor

Filed under: Tinkleflick News — Ralph @ 4:04 pm

682929343605_0_bg.jpgMarch was an historic month for the land of tinkleflick. After months of planning and waiting, we finally made it up to our new home in Gig Harbor and, unfortunately, we brought all of our stuff with us (despite many voo doo curses for the warehouse to catch on fire without hurting anyone). Ralph drove 16 straight hours from L.A. and Wendy and the kids flew up afterwards! Most of the boxes are unpacked and we are getting used to life in our new home town. Check out the new pictures.
