Yes, it’s true. What began as a “simple” vacation to Seattle and Portland in September turned out to be the beginning of a whirlwind of activity that included the offer on a new house, the listing and sale of our existing house and moving to temporary quarters all of which was bookended by another vacation over Thanksgiving! For those of you who do not already know, we are headed to Gig Harbor, Washington. We’ll spare you all of the details but as much as we love Long Beach and our friends and family there, we are excited about moving to a new place. Gig Harbor is located in the South Sound area of the Puget Sound near Seattle and Tacoma (closer actually to Tacoma than to Seattle). If you ever find yourself in the Pacific Northwest, feel free to come and visit! If you are interested in learning more about our new home town, here are some links:
2007 Holiday Letter
Welcome to the third annual electronic Tinkleflick Holiday Letter, the holiday letter that readers are free to read or ignore! Given the relative priority of the news we have to report, let’s start with the end of the year.
Tinkleflick Headquarters is Moving North!
Alright, Already What About the Kids!?!?
Let’s face it, you come to this website to read about and see pictures of the kids. We have long realized that our role in life for the time being is merely as support staff to the kids. If you are a regular reader of tinkleflick.com, you have probably been astounded, as have we, at the rate which the kids are growing and developing. Noah will turn five (that’s right, folks, FIVE in January and Natalie is a few weeks shy of her second birthday). Everyone is doing well and looking forward to the big move! We decided not to completely fill this page with pictures because we actually did a decent job of updating the website this year so, if you are so inclined, there are plenty of pictures and (especially recently) some video clips available right here on tinkleflick.com. Keep checking back in 2008 as we hope to continue to post pictures and provide updates on the kids and the move!
Last Year, This Year
One of the nice things about posting these holiday letters online is that we can go back and read the old letters and remind ourselves of where we were the year before. It’s like a snapshot of our lives at the end of each year. So, for this year’s holiday letter, we have added new feature called “Last Year, This Year”.
Happy Holidays!
