It was a very sad occasion last week when Ralph’s grandmother passed away. Wendy, Ralph and Noah made the trip to Fremont, Ohio for the service.

Ralph Flick died in 1957 and after that, she worked in the dietary office at Memorial Hospital for nearly 20 years. In 1970, LaRue married Leighton Bowersox and he died in 1975.
Besides her parents and husbands, she is preceded by sisters, Trudy Miller and Ruth Marie Kreilick.
LaRue was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and its sewing charity circle. She loved her church and did a lot of sewing for the World Relief Program. LaRue loved to sew, make quilts, travel, which she did as much as possible, and she enjoyed her class of 1930 luncheons every month.
LaRue had a special place in her heart for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them. They all will miss her.
