Christmas in Hawaii is just too crazy and crowded but, the rumor was that, Thanksgiving is a different story. We decided to try for ourselves and almost a year ago booked a week at our favorite place on Maui, Napili Beach. Napili is great because there are no high-rise hotels, it is frequented by families and we love the 1960’s era kitschy, lava-rock covered buildings. Not to mention that the beach is really nice and the little bay is well protected and offers good snorkeling. After the difficulties we encountered in Portland and Seattle in September, we opted to leave Natalie behind where she and Grandma had a party of their own. Noah spent endless hours playing in the sand and a good time was had by all. Hopefully, we’ll post some videos soom.
